A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their life-threatening medical conditions.
Arriving at school for a visit, wish kid Kennedi had no idea that her wish to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse was going to come true. Volunteers Teri and Kim, along with wish sponsor, Bailey Station Elementary, had planned a great surprise for Kennedi! The school was decorated with various Disney-related themes, with the final decoration being a sign proclaiming Kennedi's wish come true. Kennedi screamed and smiled when she learned her wish was coming true, and "our whole family was super excited," said Kennedi's mom, Chauntay.
When it came time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, Kennedi and her family flew to Orlando where the trip of a lifetime began. "I think Kennedi will remember the excitement of the trip for the rest of her life. She loved not waiting in the long lines for rides," her mom said. "My family and I will forever be grateful to Make-A-Wish!"
