A creative spirit drove
a bedroom makeover.

Grace relaxes in her new room

Grace Unleashes Her Creativity

Grace, 13

inflammatory muscle disease

I wish to have a bedroom makeover

Throughout her brave fight with a rare and painful muscular disease, Grace had seen more than her fair share of hospital rooms, often spending weeks confined to bed due to severe muscle spasms. Her strong will helped her focus on overcoming her illness and staying positive throughout her difficult journey, but Grace had one special request – a bedroom makeover.

Grace has a gift for creativity and knows exactly what she wants, so naturally she jumped at the chance to design her “wish” room. She spent countless hours on her laptop, picking out just the right colors, furniture, paint, and accessories. She made sure no detail was overlooked. Despite hip and knee surgery prior to the completion of the remodel, Grace was determined to walk into her new room for the first time – and she did.

Here, in her own sanctuary, Grace can be Grace.
