This inaugural event celebrates the inspirational mix of connoisseur chefs with locally grown food, fresh off the farm. The chefs will prepare dishes inspired by the wealth of Arkansas soil grown by members of the Certified Arkansas Farmer’s Market.
Farm Fresh Wishes is a fundraising event for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-South. This fantastic local food prepared by Arkansas’ finest chefs will raise money for a great cause and 70% of the proceeds will benefit the Mid-South Chapter.
The event will take place Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at Argenta Market in North Little Rock, AR. Tickets are $75 per person which will comprise six courses featuring as many Arkansas ingredients as possible, along with wine pairings. This year’s guest chefs will include Shane Henderson (Argenta Market), Jason Godwin (Simply the Best), Brian Deloney (Maddie’s) and Jason Knapp (Arkansas Governor’s Mansion).
